The Bautechnische Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt in Salzburg has ordered H&P to modernise its 600 kN Losenhausen testing machine.
The testing machine was equipped with a new hydraulics aggregate, servo valve and digital control electronics. The customer's extensometers were integrated into the new electronics. Because the original clamping jaws were torn, H&P produced new jaws for the original Losenhausen clamps. Thus, it was not necessary to purchase new clamps.
After the modernisation, the Bautechnische Versuchsanstalt has a powerful testing system that can execute all necessary tests according to standards. The modernisation was carried out on site and took only three workdays.
