Hegewald & Peschke received an order for the development and delivery of a special testing machine type Inspekt 50 S from the Fränkische Rohrwerke. According to the individual needs, they designed a universal testing machine with a capacity of 50 kN. Therewith, the Fränkische Rohrwerke can execute high-precision strength tests on their entire range of products. Due to the ergonomic design of the workstation the strength tests can be carried out in a comfortable sitting posture. This even applies to tests on the smallest tube diameters. As the range of products includes tubes with very large as well as with very small diameters, a mobile test table with stiffness up to the maximum load was integrated. Thus, almost all types of tubes can be tested with the same testing machine without costly alteration works. The universal testing machine Inspekt 50 S has been equipped with the testing software LabMaster to ensure its user friendliness. LabMaster also includes a special ‘block programme’, with which the operator can compile and execute complex test procedures with different evaluation methods. Additionally, LabMaster includes a remote maintenance function. This allows for easy set up and fine-adjustment via the internet, if necessary.
