Extension of our Hardness Testers -product range

Hegewald & Peschke has extended its own hardness tester product range with the microhardness tester HMV-2 and the low load hardness tester HP30.

The well proven microhardness tester HMV-2 manufactured by Shimadzu has very good cost/performance ratio.
This hardness tester HMV-2 covers the range Vickers HV 0,01- HV 2 and is equipped with powered load selection and load application. The device can be upgraded to a semi or fully automated device.

The low load hardness range will be covered from the new developed hardness tester HP 30..
Hardness testers HP 30 are suitable for the hardness-methods Vickers-Brinell-Knoop and Martens in the load range 0,1- 30 kp. This device comes with a well-engineered electronics and the display analysis from hardness tester series Hpuniversal. The test load will be applied by a controlled servo drive.
A powered zoom-objective warrants a large test range without changing of objektives. The impression measurement happens fully automated with image processing.
The hardness tester HP30 can also be upgraded to a semi or fully automated device.

Furniture Test Stand Model for Fairs, Presentations and Exhibitions

Construction and production of a furniture testing stand for fairs, exhibitions and presentations.

Because of an encouragement from testing institutes und manufacturers of several furniture and furniture parts, this model was developed by Hegewald & Peschke.

As this test stand model only needs a 230V electrical connection, it is especially suitable for exhibitions and presentations also in office buildings or in receptions of companies.
Because of the concept development with 3 electrical drives and the total abandonment of pneumatic components, there is no compressed air connection necessary.

It is possible through a small refitting to make flexing cycles tests on seats, backseats and arm rests and to perform Side to Side tests.
The force of the particular actuator as well as the cycles rate will be digital displayed and documented.

Delivery of a complex furniture test plant to TÜV Rheinland Guangdong Ltd., China

For the setting up of test capacity in furniture testing for the Chinese market, our enterprise supplied various testing modules with a central controlling unit.
In the context of this order a universal test field with 4 actuators was developed.
Each actuator can be programmed with different test parameters. This makes possible to accomplish tests of desks, chairs, couches and other furniture (in accordance to the current standards DIN, EN, BIFMA, BSI/BS) at the same time.

Selling activities in Russia

The company Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. extends their selling activities within the range of material testing on Russia. In February 2005 a marketing agreement with the Russian holding "Energo Avangard" was locked in Moscow. About 40 highly-qualified selling and service specialists guarantee a comprehensive support of Russian customers. The build up of an own demonstration laboratory in Moscow is planned.

Vertex pressure testing at water pipes

In January 2005 the company Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. supplied a universal test equipment for the examination of GRP water pipes to the Amitech Germany Ltd. The 100-kN testing machine has an inspection room width of 570 mm with a test stroke of 2600 mm. With it pipes up to 2600 mm in diameter can be tested for vertex pressure and bend. In addition the software permits the evaluation of the long-term behaviour of the GRP pipes.
