Test rig for tilting/drop tests at chairs in acc to DIN 68878/1
The test rig for tilting and drop tests at chairs acc. to DIN 68878/1 is plc controlled. A cycle counter and automatic shutdown at specimen fracture are integrated.
After the nominal height of 3mm is reached (which is detected by a light barrier) the specimen moves back to its initial position in free fall. The mountings on the base plate can be moved so that different types of chairs can be clamped in without any problems.
Universal linear modul with positioning system
The linear modul is to use for tests of rotary doors, sliding doors, roller doors, filing cabinets and drawers acc. to DIN EN 1727. It is suitable also for the roll test in acc. to BIFMA/ANSI and can be operated with or without obstacles at seating furniture, containers or roller desks. (load on the central column of the chair: 136 kg, covered distance 762 mm, 9+/-1 cycles per minute)

- for this 3 parameters are used systems that base on absolute measuring
- one laser pointer serves (in connection with the measurement device at the digital counter) for the quick and easy positioning of the point “S” at the back rest

3D measurement device for swivel chairs, chairs, stools, armchairs and cantilever chairs acc. to EN 1335-1, EN 1728, EN 1729, EN 581-2, EN 13761 and DIN 4551, with integrated pneumatic lifting equipment for the seat weight.
Based on the indication of positions in the testing procedures it is possible to mark the load loci on the specimen with the help of this measurement device.
