Service and Maintenance:

Installation and Instruction - Materials Testing Equipment

• The testing systems are put into operation right at your site by our personnel. Installation plans and transport support are available if so wished.
• Instruction on the operation of the systems comprises the joint definition of parameter sets and fundamental training on the materials testing software of Hegewald & Peschke Ltd.
• One or two-day preliminary approval sittings at Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. head office are possible if so wished, allowing the customer to thoroughly familiarize himself with the system. The daily price for such sittings is € 400 independently of the number of participants.
• We recommend additional training after some time (approx. 8 weeks), which allow to answer questions that have arisen in the customer's operation by practical examples.
  

Maintenance and Calibration Services

• Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. offers individual maintenance or maintenance contracts for materials testing and measurement equipment of its own production. Contracts for products of other manufacturers are possible after assessment and clarification of spare part procurement. For maintenance contracts, whose time schedule is flexible, we offer up to 15 % price advantage over individual maintenance.

• Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. offers all services from one hand: maintenance intervals as wished by the customer, maintenance, calibration with works or DKD certificate (in cooperation), proof of connection to government calibration standard. All services can be purchased independently of each other.

• We inspect electro-mechanical and hydraulic universal testing machines up to 600 kN, elongation testers and hardness testers of all load types and methods.

• Since November 2004 Hegewald & Peschke Ltd offers DKD certificate services in co-operation with the company Wohl & Partner Ltd.

• The calibration laboratory received the permission from PTB Braunschweig for the DKD calibration of universal testing machines up to 500 kN.

• An extension of DKD permission for the range of hardness testing machines is planned.

• The maintenance offers of Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. include software maintenance contracts which - against payment of a flat rate - comprise software upkeep, continuous supply of updates, parametrization and support for long-distance data transmission.
