Since 1990, Hegewald & Peschke GmbH has been developing, producing and distributing high-quality machines, components and software solutions for materials and component testing. The product range includes universal testing machines, hardness testers, component and funiture test stands, and different length measuring devices for research and industry. The Saxon company, based in Nossen nearby Dresden, has several selling agencies all over Germany. We offer reliable and quick customer service and customised solutions for retrofittings. Hegewald & Peschke GmbH has been certified according to ISO 9001 and co-operates a DKD (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst – German calibration service) calibration laboratory for the physical values load, length and  hardness.

Solutions for research and industry
The machines and components of Hegewald & Peschke GmbH are developed and produced either in standard versions or according to the customers’ individual requests. The large product range spans from solutions for the smallest testing loads to big testing machines, which can run at very high speeds. On that basis, different mechanic and dynamic characteristics of materials and components can be measured. The customer-specific solutions created by Hegewald & Peschke GmbH include, for example machines and components for determining the:

• firmness of Bond wire connections in micro electronics
• tensile strength of sewing thread
• cut resistance of butter or sausage
• mechanic characteristics of construction materials
• flexibility of springs
• fracture strength of high-voltage insulators
• bending strength of aeronautical components made from composite materials

Furthermore, Hegewald & Peschke GmbH offers special machines for compression tests on packages, and complex dynamic test stands for durability tests on furniture. If necessary, it is also possible to carry out these static and dynamic tests at different temperatures or climatic conditions.

In many sectors of industry it is important to control the quality of products and materials consistently. Therefore, it is usually necessary to carry out numerous tests in a short amount of time. We can solve that problem with our automation solutions. This includes, for instance, special systems with robot controlled specimen feed and automated acquisition of measured data.

Highly qualified staff
Our staff is mainly composed of experienced engineers from the fields of mechanic construction design, automation technology, and electronic and software development. Hegewald & Peschke Meß- und Prüftechnik GmbH is run by Volkmar Hegewald (born 1953), who has an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in plastics technology, and Volker Peschke (geb. 1959), who has an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in ferrous metallurgy and materials testing.
