The material testing software of Hegewald & Peschke Ltd. has been specially designed for use in material and dynamic testing.

 

The software is used with the machines of the inspekt mini, inspekt and inspekt series as well as in the modernization of testing machines. The network capable software operates under Windows 2000 ® and Windows NT ®. The heart of this software is a high-performance database in which all measured data and parameters are stored (interbase database server). The standard package comprises the basis software and the evaluation software modules required for individual testing standards.

The basis software is available for the following test types:

Standard tension test with metals, plastics, textiles and paper compression test Bending test Cyclic tests (such as spring test) Free programming of procedures Peeling test	Option Video recording of tests compression hardness data import and data export (ODBC/ADO) Block program Fracture mechanics (KIC,JR-Integral) conversion modul data logging with Microsoft Word ® Rigidity correction

It realizes all necessary functions for the testing process:

• communication with the testing system, data collection
• automatic recognition, checking and calibration of all measurement sensors
• parametrization of the test process
• graphics settings
• protocol editor to produce user-defined result reports
• interfaces for the exchange of test and parameter data
• Integration of different measuring instruments (scales, caliper gauge etc..)
  

The determination of the results according to the given standard or testing specification is conducted by an integrated evaluation module, which contains all formulae of the specified testing standard. For this, a comprehensive and continuously updated standard and specification library is available. The software option Formula Editor allows users to define their own calculation formular.

The user surface design follows the Microsoft ® Office Software to enable fast operator training. Hegewald & Peschke's software can also process data of peripheral measurement devices by a wide range of interfaces. This allows the package to be used as a universal laboratory management software.
