In the middle of the year 2013 the Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH completed the development of its new high load universal testing machine series Inspekt. The new electromechanical testing machine series is offered in the load grading 600, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 2000 kN. The four-pillar load frame concept with two drive spindles and AC servo drive ensures highest stiffness and driving dynamics. The high-capacity testing machine electronics guarantee the force-displacement and strain regulations in the respective load regime. Universal testing machines of this magnitude are used for the determination of strengths and strains in the classic tensile test as well as the bending and folding testing of welding specimens and the load testing at construction elements and components.
This month the Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH could deliver three universal testing machines Inspekt 1200 kN of the new series to customers. Two machines are equipped with hydraulic clamping devices for flat and round specimens up to 60 mm diameter respectively thickness. A fully automated long way strain gauge assures the testing of metal specimens conforming to the standards DIN EN ISO 6892 methods A and B. A third machine is used for component testings in the electrical industry. Due to the possible splinter effect at the break of the specimen this machine is equipped with protective screens and a special armor protection for the drive spindles.
