Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH delivered a new generation of a fully automatic universal hardness testing device 250 kp to the university of applied science FH Brandenburg. The new device complements the existing technical equipment, consisting of a universal testing machine of the type Inspekt 150 kN and a pendulum impact tester 300Joule.
The new universal hardness testing device with 250 kp expands the existing portfolio of possible test procedures by automatic weld testing, preparation of hardness curves, Jominy test, as well as the classic individual tests of Vickers, Brinell and Rockwell measurements.
It is equipped with a motor-powered XY mechanical stage, a 6x revolving unit as well as a fully automatic analysis software.
The FH Brandenburg, in addition to modern practice-focused training, offers small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity of cooperation and contract research.
