Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH recently completed the successful installation of a Standard Universal Testing Machine at Schlaeger GmbH.
A "MULTI-I/O Module" is utilised as interface for the operation at the site. It allows reading up to eight analogous sensors via USB. In practice, this is done through the connection to an external measuring amplifier. It prepares the analogue signals of load cells and extensometers, but also of voltages and frequencies of other sensors for different measuring tasks and forwards them for analysis to the PC.
The Labmaster software supplied was expanded for this purpose by the Labmaster add-on module for HMB measuring amplifiers. The formula editor supplied allows performing customer-specific analyses in Labmaster.
