Two testing machines delivered to Porsche Leipzig GmbH for quality control in body manufacturing

Recently Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH delivered to Porsche Leipzig GmbH a small load hardness tester of the type HP30 with video as well as a universal testing machine of the inspekt table 100kN type fitted with a safety door. Commissioned in 2002, this factory is one of the most advanced automotive facilities in the world. Cayenne, Panamera and Macan models are processed here in the production areas body manufacturing, paint shop and assembly line. The application area of these testing machines is the quality control for body manufacturing. They shall be used for metal tensile tests and also for pull-out tests. In addition to this, they are employed for weld and rivet tests according to Vickers on nuts and studs that are common in automobile manufacture.
