The company Werkstoffprüfung Kunze GmbH was founded in 1949 and today is one of the best equipped testing laboratories in Europe. The range of testing services includes tensile tests, bending tests, notched bar impact bending tests and microstructure investigations, as well as hardness tests and numerous other testing options such as corrosion tests.
For hardness testing up to 750 kg, Werkstoffprüfung Kunze GmbH has expanded its testing laboratory with a universal hardness tester HP universal 750 BV with video evaluation from Hegewald & Peschke. As the name suggests, the device can be used universally for all common hardness testing methods according to Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell. This also includes the HP optical zoom, which optically enlarges the image and thus provides a significantly better image quality for impression evaluation than a purely digital zoom. As a result, up to four lenses can be replaced, which significantly reduces the acquisition costs of a universal hardness tester for a wide range of applications. The universal hardness tester is equipped with a software option for Hardwin XL for automatic image evaluation, which eliminates operator influence during evaluation and reduces measurement uncertainty.
