At the end of May, Hegewald & Peschke hosted a seminar on component testing technology, to which we invited a group of students from the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau. In addition to specialist lectures on testing technology, our guests were also able to test the seating furniture they had designed themselves on the component test bench.
The seminar was triggered by an MDR television programme in which a stool designed by a student was tested on a Hegewald & Peschke test bench.
The visit is intended to be the start of a planned co-operation between the Chair of Wood Design and our company, in which we want to offer students the opportunity to gain practical experience in component and furniture testing technology.
