Over the past 100 years, Rosenheim has developed into a leading educational hub for wood-related professions – ranging from hands-on training for carpenters and joiners to degree programs in wood technology, and even specialized master’s programs with a focus on building regulations. Today, the region is internationally recognized for its excellence in education, research, and teaching.
During the anniversary celebration, not only was the impressive breadth of educational opportunities honored, but plans for a major expansion of laboratory capacity were also announced: over €250 million will be invested in new buildings and state-of-the-art testing facilities. Currently, we are represented with a testing system in the furniture testing laboratory at the university, and we are working to expand our collaboration into the areas of component and material testing. With innovative testing technology, we aim to continue supporting the university on its path to becoming an internationally recognized center of excellence.
We warmly congratulate the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, the Lehrinstitut Rosenheim, and the Staatliche Fachschule Rosenheim on this remarkable milestone and look forward to continuing and deepening our successful cooperation.
