The Hirtenberger Group has purchased a universal testing machine that has been retrofitted by Hegewald & Peschke. The Austrian company exists since 1860 and produces complex stamping and bending parts for various sectors of business and industry, as automotive supplier parts, medical engineering or electronics industry.
The universal testing machine has been provided with a clamping tool for flat specimen in combination with an extensometer MFA2, in order to comply with the standard DIN EN6892-1 (procedure B). The testing machine will be applied for product-specific tests during the manufacturing process.
