The Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH offers products along the whole value added chain of the dialysis. For the testing of raw materials of the dialysis products as well as the medical components itself a Hegewald & Peschke universal testing machine Inspekt 100kN among others equipped with a temperature chamber is used.
The test system is used to carry out plastic tensile tests on the raw material in accordance with DIN EN ISO 527-1. On the other hand, dialysis filter cartridges are tested as a complete component under the influence of temperature. In a further test procedure, the individual filter fibers of the cartridge are subjected to tensile stress.
