Several Hegewald & Peschke testing systems have already been installed at TZÚ in the past and integrated into ongoing testing operations. This equipment covers a wide range of furniture and component testing and is used for various standard-based testing tasks , including combined testing systems for foams, pendulum impact testers, stability test benches, and testing systems from the Calmar series in various designs. Based on the positive operating experience, a testing system for durability testing and hardness measurement on foams has now been ordered.
The foam testing machine enables precise and reproducible testing of the hardness, aging, and fatigue properties of elastic foams. The test sequences are defined in the LabMaster testing software in accordance with standards and are fully documented. The specimens are loaded using an electromechanical actuator, which enables both continuous fatigue tests and the determination of foam hardness – either force-controlled or displacement-controlled. A CE-compliant protective enclosure ensures safe and standard-compliant operation.
The foam testing machine is thus designed for complex testing tasks at TZÚ, such as those required in the automotive industry, the furniture industry, and for technical foams. The combination of high measurement accuracy, standard-compliant testing, and intuitive operation makes the system a powerful solution for daily testing operations.
