Hegewald & Peschke offers various specimen punches and cutting presses with extensive accessories for the standard-compliant production of plastic specimens.

With the manual or hydropneumatic cutting presses and the corresponding knives, plastic samples can be produced in accordance with standards.

Accessories for cutting presses

Different cutting devices are installed in the cutting presses depending on the specimen shape and material.

To select the optimum cutting tool in combination with the cutting press, it is advisable to have preliminary tests carried out by Hegewald & Peschke.

Two different cutting tool systems are available:

1. Punching knives made of solid steel, eroded

The punching knives are manufactured from selected steels and are available in a wide variety of geometries and standards of all kinds, e.g. ISO, DIN, JIS, ASTM, IEC.

Structure of a conventional punching knife — Structure: The punching knives consist of a punching knife, a holder and an ejector.

2. Super Dumbbell® punching knife

The Super Dumbbell punching knife with built-in spring ejector and 5 sets of replacement precision blades is suitable for manual cutting presses.

The precision blades are clamped in a fixture according to the sample shape required by the standard and can be easily replaced if necessary. Each punching knife comes with a built-in ejector as well as 5 sets of replacement blades, replacement screws and the associated tools.
