Automated test cell for metal tensile tests
Universal testing machine inspekt 250 kN with robot
This automated test cell for tensile tests on reinforcing steel and wire specimens consists of a 250 kN universal testing machine with hydraulic fixtures from Hegewald & Peschke, a robot, a specimen recognition station, a sample rack and a scrap container. The cross-section determination during the tensile test is carried out by means of a scale and a length measuring system. The complete control of the test cell is realized by the company-owned software LabMaster from Hegewald & Peschke. LabMaster in particular offers the customer a tailor-made solution for data handling.
With this automated test cell, Hegewald & Peschke has developed an automation concept that focuses on industrial automation that communicates via BUS systems. Hegewald & Peschke concentrates the know-how for this in-house. Both the mechanical design of the test cell and the individual components, electrical design, PLC programming and software implementation are carried out independently. This provides excellent conditions for servicing the complex automation cells and for possible future adaptations.
