Calmar One - the PLC-based control concept for furniture and component testing
High ease of use for simple testing tasks
The PLC-based Calmar One control concept enables test configurations with up to six test axes. It is designed for ease of use and operation and for equipping test systems with pneumatic axes. In addition to endurance tests and dynamic and static load tests, functional tests and product life cycle simulations can also be performed. Depending on the test specimen and test task, an individual test bench can be configured for your specific test task on the basis of this modular system.
Calmar One is designed for test system-defined processes with the option of varying setpoints such as force and position as well as cycle times. The dynamic controller, newly developed specifically for this concept, reacts adaptively to environmental influences such as friction effects, changes in compressed air and temperature, hard or soft test specimens, etc. This allows for precise motion sequences, shorter cycle times, and faster processing of the test task.
