Test frames for component and furniture testing

The test frames of the Calmar test systems provide a stable basis for reliable and standard-compliant test setups in component and furniture testing. Thanks to their modular design and high-quality profiles, the test systems can be flexibly adapted to different test scenarios and customer requirements.

Design and components

A test frame consists of:

A base frame with solid 12 mm thick galvanized floor panels with threaded grid as a stable foundation
Stand feet to compensate for uneven floors (recommended for smaller test benches, mandatory for test benches over 3000 mm)

Depending on the test application, additional components can be integrated, such as roller-guided profiles, crossbeams, or joists for clamping test axes. Functional expansion of the structure for variable force application to the test specimen.

In addition to the test frame, Hegewald & Peschke offers a wide range of fixing elements for easy mounting of the test specimens in the test field structures, thereby significantly reducing setup times.

Flexibly adaptable to different applications

The size of the test frame depends on the specific requirements of the test task and the applicable standard specifications.

Hegewald & Peschke offers various standard sizes – if required, custom-made designs with additional horizontal or vertical modules can also be implemented.

Thanks to the modular design, test benches can be individually expanded, e.g., with:

Stability meets elasticity

The profiles are selected to offer high rigidity combined with defined elasticity. The optimized design ensures that the profiles only bend slightly and reversibly, even under load. The result is a test frame that enables precise measurement results and remains permanently dimensionally stable even under repeated loading.

Special profiles and accessories

Special profiles are available for specific applications, such as columns for adapting horizontal test axes for testing smaller tables or children's furniture.
