The testing system includes a universal testing machine Inspekt 600kN with a lateral testing area and a 3-point bending bench 250kN as well as a hydraulic clamping tool 600kN and a fully automatic long distance extension measuring device MFL 300-B. The bending bench is suitable for the 180° folding test as well as for universal applications.

Metallic and non-metallic materials as well as composite materials can be tested with regard to their formability at room temperature.

The testing system meets all the requirements for carrying out tests in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 6892-1 standard.

Materials testing machines with a second lateral test area are used in steel and tube mills, in automotive engineering or at universities. The testing machine is suitable for quality control as well as for research purposes. A wide range of applications and also individual testing tasks are possible with this universal testing machine. The lateral testing area is particularly suitable for bending and folding tests on larger specimens.

A second test area helps to save changeover times and changeover costs. Thus, two test applications can be realized immediately without the need to convert clamping fixtures. The second test space can also be used for the application of a high-temperature furnace or a climatic chamber. A lateral test chamber also enables ergonomically favorable working at one height while saving space.
