Testing of metals and alloys in research
Universal testing machine Inspekt 250 kN
This universal testing machine Inspekt 250 kN is used in basic university research in the field of production technology. It can be used to test very short metal and alloy samples. For this purpose, the Inspekt 250 kN is equipped with a hydraulic clamping tool that enables optimum clamping of these short tensile specimens. Tensile tests can be carried out at a maximum test speed of up to 610 mm/min, i.e. up to the increased quasi-static range. The Bauschinger effect can also be described by means of cyclical tests.
In addition to this special test application, further tensile tests are also possible, so that new research areas can also be covered.
