Wire testing machine
Reverse bend testing machine 180° for wire samples
The facility is used for bending fatigue tests (also called flex life tests or Tick Tock tests) according to DIN 51211 and ISO 7801 on wires with diameters of 0.3 - 10.0mm. The wire samples are bent with a 90° angle to the left and to the right. The lower end of the wire is clamped into a screw terminal and guided through a pair of bending rolls. The rolls ensure bending defined by the wire diameter. The upper end of the wire is clamped into a movable, motor-driven bending arm. The bending arm is driven by a servomotor. The testing facility is adjustable according to the standard indicated above.
The pair of bending rollers ensures a defined bending depending on the wire diameter. The bending roller pairs can be exchanged.
The upper end of the wire is clamped in a movable, motor-driven bending arm. The bending arm is driven by a servo motor. The test length is adjustable according to the standard.
