Determination of mechanical properties on aluminium

Especially standard tensile tests according to DIN EN ISO 6892-1 shall be performed with the testing machine. Tensile testing for metallic materials at room temperature is defined with this standard. The mechanical properties of the specimens are determined here. Aluminium is classified in primary and secondary aluminium (so-called "aluminium wrap").

Furthermore, compression and bending tests are planned with the Universal Testing Machine delivered. The testing machine accessories include wedge-type holding devices, connection sample holders and a MFX-200 longitudinal extensometer.
