Hot tensile tests are often very time-consuming and therefore cost-intensive due to long preheating times. The inspekt 250 kN universal testing machine offers a dual solution: precise test results and a considerable reduction in test duration.
The testing device is equipped with up to four high-temperature tube furnaces that can heat the specimens to up to 900 °C. The furnaces are mounted on a roller guide. The furnaces are mounted on a roller guide and can be moved individually for easy handling and precise positioning.
Maximum efficiency thanks to multi-furnaces design
A decisive advantage of the system is the multi-furnaces design:
- Parallel testing and preheating: while one specimen is being tested, other specimens can already be preheated in other furnaces.
- Minimized waiting times: Test times can be significantly reduced by switching specimens directly between the furnaces.
- Ergonomic working: The movable furnaces make it easier to change specimens and optimize the entire test sequence.
High-precision measurement technology for reliable test results
A high-temperature extensometer is available for the precise recording of material properties, which enables reliable measurements of the change in length even at high temperatures. In addition, parallel-closing hydraulic grips ensure secure and precise fixing of the specimens, while a fully automatic extensometer provides exact measurement data for the standard tensile test.
LabMaster testing software
The powerful LabMaster testing software controls the entire test sequence and is specially optimized for high-temperature tests. Thanks to the metal tensile test module and the furnace control module, temperature curves can be precisely controlled and synchronized with mechanical test data. This enables a detailed analysis of the material behavior under high temperatures and ensures that the tests are carried out in accordance with standards and are reproducible.
