Testing system and equipment

The testing system comprises an inspekt 600 kN universal testing machine with a 200 kN lateral test area and:

• 3-point bending device 250 kN - suitable for the 180° folding test and universal applications
• Hydraulic grips 600 kN for secure specimen fixation
• Fully automatic MFL 300-B long-travel extensometer for precise strain measurements

Testing options and standards

This system can be used to test the formability of metallic, non-metallic and composite materials at room temperature.
The testing system meets the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 6892-1 standard for mechanical testing of materials.
